First I would like to thank all the countries’ representatives for accepting to have the 20th European Senior Bowling Championship in Israel.
As the President of the Israeli Bowling Federation and the Organizing Committee for the ESBC 2011, I am very proud for the opportunity to have the honor and pleasure to welcome you, players, coaches, officials and spectators from all over Europe to our wonderful country, Israel and the host city of Haifa, our Northern capital city.
I believe that all of you will experience an unforgettable and pleasant stay in Israel - the Holly Land. It is a special country with lots of religious and historical exciting places to visit such as Jerusalem, Bethlehem, the Dead Sea, Nazareth, Lake Tiberias and the wonderful views and sites of the host city, Haifa that is located on Mount Carmel.
It is the second time that Israel hosts the ESBC event (last time in 2000 in Netanya) and I can promise you that we will make all our best to get for you high standards and professional lane conditions in order to run the competition in the best way.
I wish that you would all take this opportunity and arrive in Israel to participate in the ESBC 2011.
